Glacier National park

Glacier National Park is a park that is accessible to all people. Whether you prefer to lounge or hike, this park has something for you. For the people who enjoy relaxing or reading by the fire, then you can stay at your camp site or cabin or go on a short walk to the restaurant or gift shop, use the free showers, and watch birds. But if you are a more serious type of hiker and are looking for longer trails with more scenic views and wildlife, that's there too. Whoever you are, you can visit without a problem.

For the more avid hikers, this park has some trails that are stretched throughout the park with a wide range of diverse landscapes; some can get up to 14 miles one way. And the trails are good for hikers at all skill levels. When I was only 7 years old, I went on a 11.2-mile hike one way on a trail to Grinner Glacier. Glinner Glacier features some amazing landscapes, such as having the opportunity to walk underneath a flowing waterfall and getting to dip your feet in the icy blue glacier waters. Despite the hike being described as "strenuous," it wasn't so hard, plus the views made up for it. There is another shorter hike that I highly recommend. Iceberg Lake. This place has so many different landscapes along the way, and once you get to the top, you walk around snow (even during the summer) to reach the lake with tons of small icebergs in them. The lake's stillness makes it like a huge icy mirror.

But not everyone is up for the challenge, so if your more of a "read in a hammock" type of person but you still want to be outdoors and in nature, then dont worry, Glacier National Park has got you covered. With nine restaurants in the entire park and five stores, you can dine, shop, and relax. There's at least one store and restaurant in each part of the park. Near the "Apgar Village Lodge," there is "Eddies Cafe" and "Eddie's Mercantile." Near "Motel Lake McDonald," there is "Russells Fireside Dining Room," "Jamer Joes Grill and Pizza," "Luckes Lounge, and "Lodge Campstore." In "Many Glacier," there is "Ptarmigan dining room, Swiis lounge, Nick's at Swiftcurrent Motor Inn, Heidis', and "Swiftcurrent current Campstore." In "Rising Sun," there is "Two Dog Flat's Grill" and "Rising Sun Campstore." And last but not least in "Two Medicine," there is "Two Medicine Campstore.".
