| Road to Anchorage |
Anchorage is a city built in the great big state of Alaska. A city surrounded from all sides by mountains, marches, mosses, mooses, and other wildlife. This city is oddly placed in such a way that no matter which way you enter the city, you get a scenic view. and once you enter, you can admire the city by visiting many different types of attractions. Anchorage offers many different types of restaurants, serving both local and international food. There are numerous museums where you can learn about local history, culture, and aviation. You can also visit the local zoo to see a wide variety of animals. The Anchorage market is also an area that you should visit if you are in the area, they sell local crafts, fresh produce, and fruit.
CITY ZOO:
If you are staying in the city of Anchorage for an extended period of time and you still want to see animals, then you can visit the Anchorage Zoo. Viewing animals in Alaska is one of the key reasons that people come to visit. But you can't always see the animals well because they can be far away. This is a great option if you are looking to get a better look. It's fairly affordable, and you get to explore a lot. Although the zoo isn't huge, this makes it accessible for everyone to see the polar bears. The zoo is very "Alaskan themed," with animals such as mountain goats, seals, moose, owls, and other Alaskan animals. but that doesn't stop them from having leopards, tigers, and Bactrian camels.
LOCAL CREPERIE:
I'm sure that after walking around a zoo for a couple hours you're bound to be hungry. Anchorage offers plenty of great dining options, but one spot stands out: the crepery and coffee shop. It's open till 5 p.m., has a wide variety of crepes for everyone, pretty good coffee, and lots of 5-star reviews. whether you like sweet or savory, this place has got you covered.
ANCHORAGE MARKET:
After exploring all that Anchorage has to offer, a visit to the Anchorage Market is a must. This market is open on weekends and is a favorite spot for both locals and tourists. Here, you'll find a wide range of products, local crafts, suivineers, fresh produce, and delicious food. From handmade jewelry to Alaskan salmon, there's something for everyone. Whether you're looking to shop, eat, or just soak in the sights and sounds, the Anchorage Market has it all.
LEARN ABOUT THE LAND:
Finally, the most fun thing about Anchorage that I personally enjoyed was learning about the culture, indigenous people, and plants. It was exciting to get to learn and explore the history of the area and how these wonderful people lived.
